Punta San Carlos, Day Six
Yesterday, the wind arrived in PSC! We experienced juiced mid-5.0m range wind with bumps out there for some loops and wave hits! Everyone had a great time blasting around off Beach Break during the late afternoon sesh! I did not quite make it to 40 loops, but if you added Martin from Australia and mine, we may have totaled 40 FWDs!
Local pro photographer and SoloSports Camp Host, Clarke Merritt also suited up and brought out the camera and water housing to shoot these pics from the surf zone yesterday!
Great blog, just stumbled across it, and looks like you are scoring big time at PSC. Its been so windy here in North Devon (see Fisher Viking) that I have resorted to hunting out other blogs just to get away from our endless wind here. Am now following this, so please feel free to reciprocate.
Wow Bill, love that shot! A moment of wave sailing perfection, topped off with the sail shadow on the wave and bird overhead. Now on to read about Days 1-5...
Nice! Glad the wind finally showed up for you guys.

ReplyDeletethat first shot is KILLER! Glad to see that you finally got some wind! Noah & I miss you....and look forward to seeing you Sunday night. : )

ReplyDeleteI love that one-handed attitude jibe! Glad to see you finally getting some action.
ReplyDeletesuper shots, it's been a lifetime since I was at PSC. Nothing like sitting on the cliff at night after a full day of sailing and watching the show.
