Solo at Izzy's on Saturday Evening!

Fun evening sesh (5:00pm - 6:30pm), though extremely "green" port tack wave sailing. Its been a while since riding port down-the-line in the surf (nearly 5 months), and I was way off game. Lots of falls, bad timing, and poor performance. Though, things started to come back into alignment for my final wave which provided a number of turns and a few nice hits! However, I took the wave too far inside and got caught in the heavy current zone downwind from the wooden walkover. After getting pounded a few times, I washed onto the sand to call it a day.

Oh well, definitely looking forward to the next wave sesh down there!

PS: Oh yea, the water was balmy in the mid 60s, while air temps hovered in the mid 50s!
