Tropical Season Revving Up?!

Looks like our first potential major storm is gearing up in the tropical Atlantic.  Forecast models have the storm definitely on a track towards the US east coast.  Hatteras is one of the spots in its possible sights.

Of course we do NOT want a repeat of an "I" named storm from 2011, however if Isaac simply spins up some nice long period ground swell to provide some fun surf along our beaches, that would be great!  Best case would be for the storm to turn north and run the Slot between Hatteras and Bermuda..., we shall see?!

Looks like Isaac is staying south in the Gulf. Joyce on the other hand is predicted to do just what you asked for Bill.

Yea, Joyce could be the real wave maker here, and if the storm stays well clear and we see SSW wind....anyone remember Coquina Beach 2009?! I do, and literally my best wavesailing day ever on the OBX!!

Only downside that sesh...I did not have my first Tempo 92 until a month or so later.

This year though, ready for anything ranging from SeaLion Pro to Quad 75, and of course the Tempo 92 in the middle! aahhhh waves!
