Small Surf and PBRs at Oregon Inlet

Tony and I decided to take an afternoon beach trip to Oregon Inlet on Saturday. Lauren was out of town for the weekend; therefore, she missed the trip! The sand bars north of the inlet were quite nice for surfing the small knee high sets. We loaded the 4runner with longboards, some PBRs, and a few ice cream bars and headed south from Nags Head. At Oregon Inlet, the beach was quite packed with vacationers here to enjoy the perfect weather. Conditions were basically best for hanging out under the beach umbrella with a cold PBR, but the water was perfect and felt great on a hot summer afternoon.
