After Work Surf Session

Late yesterday afternoon, we headed down to our usual surf spot in south Nags Head near the Comfort Inn hotel at Whalebone Junction. Just south of Govenor Street, the spot has a really nice sand bar that breaks at any tide level, though at low tide it can be a little too shallow to make it across the bar. Yesterday evening we were closer to high tide, so it was perfect timing for some fun wave rides. Conditions were small knee to waist high summer waves. The water was crystal clear and around 80 deg. Perfect for an early evening surf session. Lauren and I joined our buddies Tony and Rick for some fun in the surf.

Check out these on the water shots.
