Three Days into A SW Run

Since Thursday, we have seen regular afternoon SW ramp ups on the OBX. The strongest conditions have remained north in Nags Head with Windmill Pt and Jockey's Ridge clocking averages in the upper 20s with gusts into the 30s! Avon and points south remained lighter in the upper teens and low 20s. The ocean has been completely flat throughout this SW run, with nothing but knee high shore break. All in all, its been fantastic for sound side flatwater and bump & jump, but no wave sailing oceanside.

Bill, If you were sailing from your red 4runner oceanside just north of waves on Friday, I think my group almost ran you over.
I (we) were staying the week and hit for home friday late afternoon
Thursday and Friday were great, enjoy the great weather

Yep, that was me! I was out at S-Turns on Friday.

Glad you caught the first half of this SW four day!
