Some Lost Video from Summer 2009!
Today, I was perusing my archived video collection and found some GoPro footage shot during a juiced 4.7m sesh last summer at South Beach, Salvo which I have never posted. My old laptop which previously served as my video editor died months ago, so this is a first try using Windows Vista Movie Maker. Not too bad, though looking "forward" to creating new content this Spring for your video enjoyment!
In the mean time, enjoy this taste of summer, 2009!
In other windsurfing news, Windsurfing International, March 2010 is out..., killer online mag!!
Also, check out the latest MauiSails, MauiMonthly online zine as well.

Great video to get us all psyched about the new season - sunshine, boardshorts and all!
(Did you just use the stick-on mount near the nose of the board?)
Hey Brian, yea definitely looking forward to board shorts, fun winds/waves, and sunshine in 2010!
Yea, the mount is with a sticky which ships with the GP camera. I did sand down the tack coat on the nose of the board to ensure a smooth adhesive spot, and it works great! Definitely do not forget the safety line though, which is simply a piece of downhaul line tied to the mast foot at one end, and the base of the GP camera at the other.
Nice loop footage. It's hard to imagine board shorts after this rather brutal winter. I've noticed Andy's recent videos still includ rubber gloves/mittens. I should be down to Hatteras around March 22 for a week or so and I'll be packing lots of neoprene apparel.
Hope to see you out on the water!
great angle Bill. perfect blue sky and audio too. can't wait to get back.
nice video Bill-theres nothing like powered sailing over blue water of hatteras.
