Today the winds blow strong out of the north during the morning hours but diminished in the early afternoon. I made the trek south to Buxton and caught the tail end, but conditions were marginal on the inside and moderately powered outside. I rigged a 5.3m Legend and caught a few waves and jumps before the winds shut down. All in all, I probably should have saved the gas, but I was worried I might have had a repeat of last
Sunday.
Until it blows on the OBX again...
Only one photo again today since I did not want to spend any time on the beach but rather on the water since the wind was dropping. The shot with this post is what I saw when I topped the dune near where the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse used to sit.
