Southerly Wind in the Forecast

The forecast looks promising for the later half of this week with strong southeast (SE) winds in the cards for Thursday. Though SE is a tough call for windsurfing conditions here on the OBX. The Cove is the spot; however, skies are rarely clear and sunny. Usually strong SE winds include periods of heavy rain and squally wind. This was the case last week when we had rainy SE conditions, though the waves were quite clean! Not the best weather for photographs, but perhaps there will be some breaks to let the sun shine though?!

Stay tuned!
