Luckily No Wind This Past Weekend
This past weekend, the 4runner was offline as I had to replace the clutch in the beach truck. The sand driving began taking its toll, though the truck also has over 360,000 miles on it! Overhauling the clutch is a fairly major job since the transmission has to be removed from the vehicle. I decided to go for it given my trusty Haynes Manual, advise from Keith M, the online forum Wild Yoats, and my neighbor Jesse.
I spent the weekend under the truck and will likely need one more day to put it all back together. Definitely easier with the help from Jesse, especially wrestling with the transmission.
All in all, an enjoyable experience. Though, IWindsurf is forecasting SW winds for the next couple of days?! I need to get the 4runner back on the road and beach ready, pronto!
