SW Monday Report
Enjoyed warm SW yesterday with sunny skies and 4.2m conditions! I was initially denied at Ramp 34 due to a drop in wind and heavy current, but redeemed with a sunset offshore session at the Point! Chest to head high waves and strong winds prevailed well after sunset. Charlie, Dan and I caught it. We were a little worried about Dan as we lost him after the sun set and with offshore winds blowing over 35 knots, if he was out at sea, it would have been a long night. However, he washed ashore south of where we launched after his universal became disconnected. Luckily nothing was lost, and we all enjoyed a cold early evening brew on the beach. Fun times!

The initial outing at Ramp 34 during the mid afternoon

Early evening at the Point. Notice the blowing sand...I should have rigged 4.2m but rather had a 4.7m out there. I would have rigged down, but we simply did not have enough time before it got dark...can't wait to turn the clocks forward?!

Let's see December, SW, 4.2, why didn't you guys go to the Point first? Seems like that would have been better than Ramp34
