grate set of photos
I think # 1 would be my favorite if it was cropped differently. You can't really see enough of the wave.
Whats up with putting an aerial photo in with 4 bottom turns? Of course the aerial looks the most extreme, but it doesn't belong in the group. So mentally I discarded that photo and based my decision on the best of the remaining four. Why don't you start this round over and replace photo II with a photo of a big wave bottom turn. Then you can stick photo two in either a group consisting of aerials and off the lips.
This round is BIG wave, and contains shots of the biggest wave rides caught on camera. The wave aerial happened to be one snapped off a big wave ride during the Old Lifeguard Beach sesh from Hanna. Whether its a wave aerial, bottom turn, or lip smack, if the wave is at least logo high, its here.
Additionally, the results so far in this heat are well rounded, as compared to some other heats. Therefore, the mix seems good given that there are no photos in this heat which appear to be "running away" with it.
Also, I will post complete results for each heat once the finals are announced. Each post will be updated with the breakdown of votes including totals.
I am itching to post the results since it is cool to see, but am waiting until the finals to keep the suspense up for the final seven headers which make the cut.
uh,charles, thats not an aerial...its an out the backial
