Day Two at Old Lighthouse Beach
Monday, strong NE wind blanketed the southern OBX most of the day. A fade occurred late afternoon; however, during the morning and early afternoon, 4.2+m range sails were the call! The southern beaches remained flat, and the east facing were disorganized whitewater havens; therefore, Old Lighthouse Beach was the call. Jim, Keith, and a few visiting sailors caught some fun waves. Conditions were reported as overhead high set surf, cool air temps, and warm water. I trekked down to the Lighthouse during the late afternoon, but by the time I arrived, the wind began to fade. A "Missed It" is marked on my calendar, but everyone who was there to catch it had a fun time!
Here is a short video of fun times at the Lighthouse yesterday, blended with a mid-September session.

Hey, its all good fun! The video commentary showed no ill will towards anyone sailing out there. There was no malice in the tone, and hey those guys were hitting it,ripping, and having fun! The only fool is the anonymous poster noting "tator salad?!"
I may simply disallow anonymous comments since over 70% are pure nonsense anyway. They usually provide no substance to the posts, and only serve to make the anonymous commenter look like an idiot!
