Ski Time at Copper Mountain
Lauren and I are back on the OBX after a week in Colorado visiting friends and family, and of course, catching some time on the slopes. We ventured to Copper Mountain and enjoyed two days of fun packed powder skiing. Quite a different experience from time on the water, but layering up to protect against the 15+ degree air reminded me vaguely of suiting up in the 5/4 full wetsuit. It has been about 6 years since my previous skiing experience, but it came back pretty quickly. I did not snowboard on this trip, but perhaps when we return in March, I will try it!
Here are some photos from the trip!

A fellow OBXer, Ride Hatteras Luke was out at Copper working for the winter. We were surprised to run into someone from the OBX we knew out there!

Bill, I love Copper, was there couple of years ago and may go back next year. Those pics of the summit, the back bowls, and Jack's Slopeside bring back nice memories. Mac
