SW is Kicking IN for Springtime Hatteras Action!

SW winds have been ramping up in Hatteras and the latest sesh scored on Monday, March 22.  Ramp 30 was the spot and featured fun waist to chest high surf, strong SW wind requiring  mid 4 meter sails and small boards.

OceanAir Sports, Brian K snapped this shot of one of my first big FWDs of the season!  Juiced on the 4.5m Legend and 75ltr Quatro Quad LS, it only took a little tug to go for a big spin!  Fun time!

Next sesh though has eyes on Ramp 27 where an interesting sandbar setup looks to be firing about 100 yds south of the ramp.  Until the next SW sesh, perhaps this afternoon?!
