Big Nor' Easter Later this Week?!

Looks like the first big nor'easter of the OBX Fall season is in the forecast for later this week, beginning Wed. Big waves, big wind, and crazy conditions! If heading to Hatteras, and the road is closed at Mirlo/S-turns, be sure to check out Jockey's Ridge, especially with gale force NW wind!! Quite fun! You will know the conditions if there is sand blowing across Rt 158 as you pass the giant sand dunes in Nags Head.

Looks like the 2010 3.7m Legend may be coming out of the plastic bag this week!

PS: If anyone needs a 2008 3.7m or a 2009 4.2m MauiSails Legend for the upcoming gale, send me an email!

Yea! Likely though it will be sitting on the side lines during this upcoming Nor'easter gale forecast for later this week.

The trusty 76 wave stick and a 3.7m will likely be the call?! Though, perhaps I can get it into the Atlantic on the back side of the storm... perhaps for some light air wavesailing Sunday?! : )

"light air"? Meanwhile you're the only guy I know who flips a three meter sail after one season.

You get so much wind it makes me sick!

:)

(Meanwhile I'd come down except for family obligations...I'll be sailing on Long Island though. Tear it up down there!)
