Tow-in Surfing at Old Lighthouse Beach

This is simply amazing! Yesterday (11/3/2007) a couple of local Hatteras surfers did some tow-in surfing in the 25+ft surf produced by Hurricane/Nor'easter Noel. This is not Hawaii or Mavericks, this is Cape Hatteras!

Greetings Lane from Kevin O'Shea, boardhead from Stmfd, whom u would know from sailing in stratford. awesome scenery, was wondering why I didnt see anything from hatteras on the weather channel. they ccould pay u for the shots!! weather warriors at the weatherchannel.com ps years later, finally sailing NErs down the line at the fire island inlet, after your suggestion!

These pics rock! I mean, why not? We all know how difficult it is to catch waves like those, unassisted. Did you take those shots from the beach?
